GW2 party sizes? Hello folks, I'm getting turned on to GW2 now and been reading their site some. I see the only tournament PvP will be a 5v5 format, but I'm wondering about the dungeon instances as well. Anyone know if these instances scale to your party size, kinda like DDO did, or is it like WoW where you need a specific number of players. 7. BigDigger324 • 1 yr. ago. There is an “add on” called Arc DPS. It will do what you want but using it to bash PUGs over the head or flex your E dong is highly discouraged by our community. Using it to improve yourself, your friends or your boss kill chances is highly recommended! 20. Lucyller. The PvE is fun and the newer dungeons have been great. If its red that means they have less of it then they should have for the level you are doing which means they are taking more agony damage then is needed or may even just be one shot by agony attacks of bosses (if they had the amount needed or more damage would be greatly reduced or negated) Mastery rank in PvE replaces level after reaching However some members of the community use the program Yolomouse to change the size and color of the cursor on Guild Wars 2. It might be worth looking into that. I use it myself, although I used it to make it larger so I can actually find it during crazy world boss fights! It's pretty good. :) There are a number valid reasons to join a party, none of which make it absolutely necessary to do so. Being in a party never directly influences your loot (but see 2.) 1. Protection against disconnects. When in a party, chances are you will be able to rejoin the same map instance as them after a disconnect. 2. Easier tagging/event contribution. Entering a Structured PvP queue for Unranked and Ranked arenas will queue the entire party and will use the party size and experience for match making. You may not invite a player who is already in another party or join another party if you are already in a party. Guild Wars is a game that generally rewards patience. #11. A lot of players don't like the successor (Guild Wars 2), and prefer to play the original game.
